Union Buildings
The Union Buildings, one of Pretoria's most well-known landmarks, houses the offices of the South African Department of Foreign Affairs. It was on the steps of the Union Buildings that President Nelson Mandela addressed the nation at his inauguration. The impressive sandstone structure was designed by Sir Herbert Baker.
